Freedom For AI Artists

I keep seeing this "No to AI generated art" around the web, so as a user of AI, having seen the boost in productivity and creative ideas, I have created an opposing image.

Everywhere I go, it seems like you can't debate AI or else howling mobs will scream at you until you back down. That seems a lot like fascism if you ask me. AI advocates cannot discuss their side with all these bloodthirsty (and evidently greedy) overlord artists ostracizing them. Cancelling something because of a a handful of perceived negatives I refer to as The Shechem Effect (Everyone is punished for the sins of one/a few). This kind of thing is very unfair to the other side and basically a violation of civil and constitutional rights.

This is usually how discussions about AI go:

Advocate: AI isn't theft like people claim.
Community: F^^K AI!!!
Advocate: There are plenty of articles detailing what it really does.
Community: F^^K AI!!!
Advocate: Are you even hearing me?
Community: F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!! F^^K AI!!!

The only thing I hear from the above example is:

Pontius Pilate: This man has done nothing wrong.
People: CRUCIFY HIM!!!

This fear of anything new is what I call "The Dark Ages Argument." People always fear change and shun anybody who supports that change. Yet history has shown us time and time again that nothing bad happens and the industry becomes even more innovative than before.

This centuries-old vicious cycle has been applied to, but not limited to, the following: The Printing Press (Queen Mary's lust for total control of knowledge at the time was the birth of copyright, a system that has always been a tool of censorship/thought control) Photography, The Phonograph, The Automobile, Electricity, Microchips, Computers, Television, VCRs, CDs, The Internet, DVDs, Violent Video Games, Photoshop (Remember when people raised a ruckus about photoshopped images?), Smart Phones, 3D Printers, etc.

It's a pointless cycle that never ends. People always fear for their job or their livelihood when in reality there is absolutely nothing to worry about.

So now, I am going to stand up and be an example for those of us who do support AI art. Our voice matters just as much. And if this post should be screencapped and featured in a post criticizing me and AI, then they will prove that everything I have said about them is absolutely right.

I found critical thought articles supporting AI that actually use logic instead of mob mentality. There are real diamonds in the rough.
