I'm not someone who makes complaints very often, but there is something I really need to get off my chest.
One of the things that bothers me is when I publish some art pieces trying to invoke one reaction, I always end up getting the exact opposite. For instance, when I try to make something unusual that's mean to cause arousal, I'm met with comments like, "That looks painful."
*Butting head on desk*
It's a drawing, not a photograph. But that's the unfortunate thing for me. I'm an idealist living in a realist's world. No matter what kind of pictures I draw, I'm always attracting realists. Where's your imagination? Must everything be treated like a simulator? Meant to be as real as possible? I'm drawing something of fiction, for Christ's sake. It's not supposed to be real.
*Sighs* But maybe it's just the raving of an artist who is unhappy with the realist takeover of public mentality. Who knows? I hope this gives you at least some idea of how I feel.
